The procedure

First contact

  • If I have aroused your interest, I look forward to hearing from you. We will arrange an consultation by phone or video (15 to 30 minutes). This appointment is free of charge and without obligation. You can tell me what situation you are in and what your ideas are. I may ask a few questions and give suggestions on how we can could proceed.

First visit - Verbalising goals and first Tyding Up Session

  • After the first consultation, if you decide to have a Tidying Up Coaching, we meet at your place and get to know each other personally. You decide which rooms you want to show me. Most of the time it is all the rooms, but it doesn't have to be.

  • Before we start tidying up, we write down your needs and ideas. You can visualize your dreams, we write them down as goals and make a plan on how to implement them. Then we'll get started right away.

Procedure of Tidying Up

  • A proper Tyding Up is broken down into two steps: The first step is to take everything out from their place and separate the things that you want keep from what you will not keep. Only after this process your belongings will be properly stored. Also we don't proceed room by room, but work according to categories. Usually we start with the clothes. All clothes go in one place. Then you decide for each piece of clothing whether you want to keep it or not. This is a very important process and not as easy to implement as one might think at first.

  • When we're done with that, you'll most likely have fewer clothes. This gives you more space plus you a great feeling of having only the things that you really like to wear.  This action of getting rid of ballast is quite a liberating und uplifting experience after it is accomplished.

  • After that we arrange everything optimally. There is a lot to consider since the goal is to have an order gives you joy and is maintained in the future.

  • Then we do the same with all the other categories like books, paperwork, appliances, household items, etc. Like and like comes together, so you will have a neat and tidy home relatively quickly.

Duration of the process

  • How long it takes depends primarily on you and your situation. We do it in your way. There is no rigid concept that we have to follow through.


  • When we've gone through all the categories and reached your goals, we're done. Then it's time to enjoy the results, because now your new life begins!

Virtual consultations

  • CHF 90.- per hour

Tyding Up Coaching at your place

  • Fr. 200.- for 2 hours (minimum per coaching session)

  • Fr. 90.- for each additional hour

Travel expenses

  • Within the City of Zurich: free

  • Otherwise fare from Zurich by public transport (with half-fare travelcard)

  • Travel time is at my expense
